DOORS AND DRAWERS

1. Contemporary

• Doors can be of any style imaginable, with raised panel being the most
  common.
• Drawer boxes are solid wood dovetail construction offered in two styles-
  standard (half blind) and antique reproduction.

2. Period Style

• Period style drawer boxes have an antique hand cut style dovetail; usually
  on a ¾ inch thick box. For more info, please go to our period style page.

FINISHES

1. Contemporary

• All stains are custom blended. Our primary stain provider is Sherwin
  Williams coatings, although we use products from many other sources.
• Our top coat is normally pre-catalyzed lacquer in your choice of sheens.
• For the contemporary white look, as seen on our home page, we use a white pigmented pre-catalyzed coating, very similar to an automotive finish. An infinite color selection is available in this type of coating.

HARDWARE

1. Contemporary

• A variety of hinges are offered with the most common being concealed. We currently use, as standard, an easily detachable European hinge made by Grass.
• Pulls are on allowance, so you can pick anything you like from our venders or supply your own.
• Drawer slides can be chosen from Accuride and Knape-Vogt, among others. All available in a variety of test weights from 75lbs to 200lbs.

2. Period Style

• Period style cabinets normally use an inset door. These doors use an exposed hinge available in various finishes with either ball top or a pental top. For more information on Period style hardware try Van Dykes Restoration catalog.
• Period style drawer boxes can use modern contemporary drawer glides or old fashioned, hand cut wooden glides- like the shakers used. For more, visit our period style page.

CABINETS

Cabinet cases are hard wood plywood, finished inside and out, with
adjustable shelves in the uppers standard. All of our face frames, doors and
drawer fronts are solid wood (of course!!!) unless otherwise specified by the
customer.

STORAGE AND CONVENIENCE

We offer a full line of storage and convenience items from such manufactures
as Rev-A-Shelf, Feeny, Amerock and many others.

COUNTER TOPS

We handle all the major counter tops available- kitchen laminate (Wilson
Art, Formica), stone, solid surface (Corian, HI-MACS), Michigan butcher block, man made stone,
(Caesar Stone).

• We handle all of the major counter tops available including:
  • Natural stone including granites, marbles, soap stones etc.- if God made it, we can get it.
  • Solid Surface products including Corian, Hi-macs, and Avonite and others.
  • Man made stone including Caesarstone and Zodiaq and others.
  • Solid maple butcher block tops from Michigan Maple Block.
  • And of course, great looking and affordable laminate from Formica, Wilson Art and Pionite etc.- If man made it, we can get it also.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

We also provide a custom door and drawer service for trim carpenters and
remodelers for door and drawer replacement on existing cabinets.

We also can provide thermo foil products for budget dictated projects.
